The unique fibre mesh burner produces as much effective heat as many 14 Kw competitor heaters yet only uses 8.9kw's of power. The Silver Ladye II is the only heater which incorporates a fibre mesh burner - one of the most technologically advanced heater heads on the market - and it is this which enables both high heat output and low gas consumption. Most standard heaters work by heating an internal cone which then provides the heat, the Silver Ladye fibre mesh is attached externally on the heater and it is this mesh which is ignited. This has the following benefits: it provides instant heat (something unique to the silver ladye); the heat is direct meaning that a lower heat output is needed but the actual heat produced is higher then many larger rival heaters, the lit fibre mesh also acts as a 'Halo of light' around the heater.
