Finally a tetris game you can actually throw across the room in frustration!
Tetris being a worldwide phenomonen, it was only a matter of time before games making boffins came up with a hands-on version and this one is definately worth the wait - play against a friend or the machine, the concept is the same as for the addictively perfect computer version; make complete lines out of different shaped mulicoloured blocks.
The differentce with Tetris Tower is you actually get to pick up the blocks and feed them into the game yourself: Quite simply, the game tell you what piece is next with flashing lights, you find the piece, rotate it by hand and drop it into the right place.
That's the theory, in reality the lights and sound and whole surreal aspect of 'being a tetris game' means that generally these steps are followed by screams of "NO!! I meant to put it that way round!"
Completed rows are marked off as yours or your opponent's by flicking a switch next to the row, get to the top, tot up the rows and you have a winner!
Very simple, ridiculously fun and fiendishly addictive, Tetris doesn't change, it just evolves!
